The Kingman Museum’s 1st Annual Fundraiser Gala & Jewelry Trunk Show
Inspired by Nature … Made in Michigan
Friday, November 4, 2011 & Saturday, November 5, 2011
The museum is planning a fundraising event featuring unique jewelry designed and made in Michigan!
This funraising event will feature a large jewelry trunk show & gala fundraiser for Nov. 4 & 5th of this year. This is a three-fold event featuring a “kickoff gala”, online store features and sales (a mini trunk show) and an open to the public jewelry sale event.
The main focus of this trunk show will be "Made in Michigan” Jewelry Designers as well as Michigan businesses providing catering, supplies, entertainment, etc. All facets of this fundraising event will focus on supporting Michigan based companies first.
The jewelry featured in this event must be either Earth/Eco Friendly, made of natural substance, and/or represent nature and/or science in some way, ie bugs, botanicals, wildlife, metals, glass, etc.
This event will be marketed to Indiana, Ohio, Illinois and, of course Michigan through mailings, press releases, handouts in our gift shop, electronic media and print advertising, as well as our online store which would feature participating jewelry designers and their product.
We are currently contacting talented Michigan Jewelry Designers in the hopes to boost their sales and create awareness for their talent. It is our goal to have an extensive variety of different mediums and design styles. Here is a list of a few designers whom have already committed and/or been contacted. Please visit their websites and have a look at their jewelry.
