Kingman Museum is always looking for helping hands. As a non-profit organization, we have a limited staff. Programs and exhibits are always better when we collaborate with volunteers just like you! We have volunteer opportunities for high school students, college students, adults and seniors alike.

 Volunteer Opportunities Include (But are not limited to):

-Working Admissions
-Manning the Gift Shop
-Greeter/Docent
-Collections Assistant
-Administrative Assistant
-Education Assistant
-Planetarium Presenter
-Marketing Assistant
-Indoor and Outdoor Maintenance
-Exhibit Construction/Renovation

Internship Opportunities

Marketing & Outreach Intern: 8-16 hours a week (Flexible Schedule)

Education Intern: 8-20 hours a week (Flexible Schedule)

Responsibilities Include:
-Preparing Materials for Education Groups and Programming
-Maintaining Education Records
-Assisting in Educational Programming
-Helping to Create Program Lessons.

Administrative Intern: 6-12 hours a week (Flexible Schedule)

 Responsibilities Include:
-Processing Donations and Memberships
-Working with Clerical Data
-Assisting in Financial Record Filing
-General Office Work.

Collections Intern: 8-12 hours a week (Flexible Schedule)

 Responsibilities Include:
-Organizing Archives and Artifacts
-Assisting Collections Manager
-Creating Temporary Exhibits
-Helping to Maintain Exhibits and Artifacts.

Admission is FREE!
Planetarium shows $2 per person

Kingman Museum members receive free planetarium show tickets, gift shop discounts, plus free or discounted admission to over 600 ASTC partners across the country and more!
